Armed gangs at Apapa Road, Olokodana, Fagbayimu and Ilogbo Streets in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State, have clashed.

Armed gangs at Apapa Road, Olokodana, Fagbayimu and Ilogbo Streets in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State, have clashed, leaving many wounded.Members of the gangs who belong to the Eiye Confraternity, Buccaneers and the Black Axe , were reportedly hired as party thugs during the just concluded primaries of the Action Congress (AC) in the area.P.M.News learnt that members of the Eiye Confraternity from Ilogbo supported the AC chairmanship aspirant from the area, while the Black Axe and the Buccaneers from Olokodana and Fagbayimu streets supported the other aspirant from the area. During the clash, dangerous weapons, including guns were freely used by the combatants.It took the efforts of policemen from Panti and Denton police stations to quell the fighting. P.M.News gathered that the fighting continued on Monday, but on a lesser scale, after one of the aspirants was declared the party’s candiddate.
