Ruben Algarin Jr., said by authorities to be a member of the Crips gang spent Thanksgiving in Ulster County Jail, accused of selling cocaine.
Ruben Algarin Jr., 30, of Kingston was indicted Tuesday on seven felony drug charges. Police picked him up Wednesday at his McEntee Street home.
They said they’d learned he was selling a “significant” amount of cocaine from there. He was taken to the jail and held without bail.
