Local News | Girl sentenced in Sultan gang killing | Seattle Times Newspaper: "Ana Cary Ayala Bustos, was sentenced to 12 ½ years in prison Tuesday. Bustos was one of five teens convicted in the stabbing death of rival gang member Antonio Marks, 17, of Lynnwood. The other teens received between 10 and 15 years for their roles.
Snohomish County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tobin Darrow said that although Bustos was just 15 when she participated in the killing and had no criminal history, she acted without emotion.
In handing down the sentence, Judge Ronald Castleberry said Bustos had shown no remorse for the killing. He also chided the parents of both the defendant and the victim for not trying to stop the gang violence before it turned deadly."
