CTV Winnipeg- Fatal shooting of teen believed to be targeted gang attack - CTV News: "16-year-old boy has died after a shooting in the West End on Tuesday afternoon. Police continue to look for suspects and say the shooting may have been a targeted gang attack.
A 13-year-old boy was also treated and released from hospital after being injured in the same shooting.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Toronto Street around 3 p.m. for reports of shots fired on Tuesday.
Neighbours said about six people were socializing outside a house when two armed men came by and started shooting.
CTV News has learned the 16-year-old victim was Kyle Earl. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition but died from injuries.
Officers said a friend of the two victims was armed with a gun and chased after the suspects."
