Gay Sopranos Gangster Joseph Gannascoli Arrested for DUI in Florida - Lez Get Real: "Joseph Gannascoli, the actor who played gay gangster Vito Spatafore in 41 episodes of the hit show “The Sopranos”, was arrested Friday on a DUI charge in Tampa, Florida.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department, Gannascoli was stopped in the early hours of June 18th by officers and booked into the Hillsborough County Detention facility after an officer patrolling for drunk drivers pulled Gannascoli over.
Sheriffs Department reports say Gannascoli made a wide turn, drifted in his lane and drove on the lane marker, prompting the stop. The officer then issued a field sobriety test, which Gannascoli failed and later Gannascoli blew .111 on a Breathalyzer. The legal limit in Florida is.08.
According to the actor’s Web site, Gannascoli was appearing Thursday night at a Tampa smoke shop to promote his Cugine brand of cigars."
