Man sought in Las Vegas motorcycle gang brawl nabbed in Atlanta - Friday, June 25, 2010 | 11:29 a.m. - Las Vegas Sun: "Customs and Border Protection agents arrested Richard B. Allen at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after he arrived on a flight from Caracas, Venezuela, officials said.
The warrant for Allen’s arrest was discovered during a routine inspection, customs officials said. The 51-year-old U.S. citizen was turned over to the Atlanta Police Department and will be extradited to Las Vegas.
A Clark County grand jury indicted Allen and 11 others in connection with the June 7, 2009, incident in the parking lot outside Mr. D's Sportsbar & Grill, 1810 S. Rainbow Blvd.
All 12 suspects have been charged with two counts each of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon and battery with a deadly weapon with substantial bodily harm, as well as one charge each of conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.
All of the charges include criminal gang enhancements. Bail for Allen has been set at $300,000.
Clark County District Judge Valerie Vega set the trial for all 12 defendants for 10:30 a.m. Sept. 13. The trial is expected to take about four weeks.
According to court documents, the incident broke out when two members of the Flaming Knights rode up to the bar wearing the colors red and gold, which were colors claimed by the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and their associate club, the Down and Dirty Outlaw Motorcycle Gang."
