Mesquite Local News: "Mesquite police are investigating a gang-related shooting which occurred over the weekend.

As part of the investigation, Mesquite's SWAT team was called to a home on Thompson Street early Sunday morning in the search for the suspects.


According to a press release issued by police on Wednesday, the situation began on Saturday night, Dec. 4, when it was reported that shots were fired at a vehicle on Hillside Drive near the Bowler shopping center.


The report stated that a small sedan began chasing the victim's vehicle, and shots were fired at the victim, who was not injured.
