Vancouver police focus on "persons of interest" in gang shooting on Oak Street Vancouver, Canada Straight.com: "The Vancouver Police Department says it could take several days to conduct interviews in connection with an overnight gangland shooting on Oak Street.
The gunfire injured 10 people. Today (December 12), the VPD announced that eight of the victims, including two women, are being treated in hospital.
One of the 10 refused treatment.
The shooting took place around 2 a.m. near Oak Street and West 22nd Avenue, which is an upscale part of town.
'This is an outrageous display of gang-related violence that will anger the community and cause concerns for people living in the area,' VPD spokesperson Const. Jana McGuinness said in a statement issued today."
