Paterson, Passaic residents among those arrested in fed investigation of Bloods street gang - NorthJersey.com: "Two reputed gangbangers were arrested in Passaic County on Monday as authorities unsealed a sweeping federal indictment charging 15 members and associates of the Fruit Town and Brick City Brims sets of the Bloods street gang with racketeering, murder and other crimes.
Those named in the 20-count superseding indictment represent senior leadership who ran the gang’s operations in Paterson, Newark and Jersey City, among other cities, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said.
Richard Fields, 27, was arrested in Paterson and Michael McCloud, 26, in Passaic in early-morning raids on Monday. The remaining defendants are already in state or federal custody or under house arrest on related charges. They all now face federal prosecution under the anti-racketeering law.
Vincent “No Good” Young, 41, is accused of founding the New Jersey-based set of the Fruit Town Brims while serving time in state prison for killing a rival. A one-time member of the Los Angeles branch of the gang, he currently holds the rank of “triple original gangster, or OOOG” – the gang’s highest post in New Jersey, authorities said."
