Premier Colin Barnett's stolen items turn up in drug lab
ITEMS of memorabilia stolen from West Australian Premier Colin Barnett's electorate office have been recovered following the police discovery of an alleged clandestine drug lab in Perth's south.
The premier's electorate office in Cottesloe was burgled on April 5.
Today, police searching a house in Bateman in relation to burglaries allegedly came across a methamphetamine laboratory in the kitchen.
Two men, aged 40 and 42, are assisting police with their inquiries and are expected to be charged.
A spokesman for the premier says he has thanked police for returning a number of items of stolen memorabilia.
