Family shot at in latest Sydney drive-by Shooting

A FAMILY have narrowly escaped injury during Sydney's latest drive-by shooting. A single bullet was fired at a home in Harden Street, Canley Heights, about 11pm (AEST) yesterday. It smashed through glass balcony doors but missed a man, a woman and two young children inside. Police said a car left the scene in Sydney's southwest shortly afterwards. It comes after a bullet was allegedly fired into a home in nearby Parklea Drive on Saturday morning. Three people, including a young child, were inside the property. A 21-year-old man has been charged over that shooting and is due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on May 9. NSW Opposition Leader John Robertson said Saturday's shooting was the 95th since the O'Farrell state government was elected in March 2011.
