Police killed two men while a third survived with injuries in separate shootings in city estates.The first incident happened around 11pm in Majengo after two men who were robbing a woman of property ignored a police order to surrender.The men started running away when they spotted the officers. This prompted the officers to open fire, killing one instantly. The victim’s mobile phone and money were found on the dead gangster whose accomplice escaped.Separately, police shot a suspected gangster in Mbotela estate as he fled. Police said that his gun was found, and efforts to track him down proved fruitless.Police also shot dead a gangster in Eastleigh estate. One police officer said that the man was part of a five-man gang that had been waylaying passers-by and robbing them of money and mobile phones on Sixth Avenue, Parklands. A toy pistol was found on the suspect.
