DRUG dealer masterminded a £14million cocaine racket while on day release from prison.
Mark Neville, 43, was let out to run a second-hand store to prepare him for his release back into society.
Jailed ... Mark NevilleBut he used the business as a front to sneak in cocaine hidden inside furniture shipped from Germany. The drugs were then stored in warehouses owned by his store in Preston, Lancs, and divided up ready for distribution to a dozen gangs.
Police were tipped off and arrested Neville before the 105kg of cocaine could be sold.
The dad of four, on day release from Kirkham Jail, Lancs, was jailed for 26 years on Friday at Manchester Crown Court after he was found guilty of plotting to smuggle drugs.
At the time of his arrest Neville was serving eight years for heroin smuggling.
