Federal affidavit identifies St. Joseph street gang: 1800 MOB - Local News Story - St. Joseph

Federal affidavit identifies St. Joseph street gang: 1800 MOB - Local News Story - St. Joseph: "federal affidavit identifies more information in Tuesday’s fatal shooting, including a federal complaint filed against the second person arrested, who officials say is a St. Joseph street gang member.
The case summary charges Armon Thompson, aka Bin Laden, with being a felon in possession of a firearm after previously being convicted of a crime punishable by more than a year in prison. It says Mr. Thompson possessed a .45-caliber pistol, .380-caliber pistol, a SKS 7.62x39 rifle and a .22-caliber rifle, all of which had been transported in interstate commerce.
A confidential informant identified Mr. Thompson and Calvin N. Ford Jr. as members of 1800 MOB, a St. Joseph street gang, according to the affidavit filed by a special agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The informant also provided information about the criminal activity of multiple St. Joseph street gangs, which has been corroborated by police surveillance and independent sources."
