Teen Killed in Visitacion Valley Gang Zone - Pulse of the Bay - The Bay Citizen: "Oakland teen was shot and killed yesterday inside San Francisco’s most recently created gang injunction zone.
According to Bay City News Service, Roderick Doneldson, 18, was shot about 12:05 p.m. in the 1400 block of Visitacion Avenue. Police told The Examiner they do not know if the shooting was gang-related.
The block sits on the border of the gang injunction zone in Visitacion Valley, and according to a map of the zone from the city attorney’s office, is within close proximity of Towerside Gang turf.
According to Bay City News, officers in the area heard the shots, and 911 calls led them to Doneldson, who was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Three or four male suspects were last seen fleeing south on Loehr Street toward Sunnydale Avenue. There have been no arrests."
