FBI Arrests Dozens of Gang Members in 5 Cities: "FBI announced dozens of arrests Wednesday in an investigation of street gangs in five cities across the United States.

In all, 41 members of various street gangs were arrested and charged with various crimes ranging from narcotics trafficking to racketeering and murder.

Among those arrested were gang members in Kansas City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C. and McAllen, Tex.

The most serious of the charges were filed in Washington, DC against accused MS-13 street gang members who face charges related to participating in two murders, armed robbery, sexual abuse, kidnapping and obstructing justice.

The California and Nevada gang members are accused of drug trafficking. In Texas and Missouri, they were accused of drug trafficking and firearms offenses."
