The Rough Guide to Vancouver (Rough Guides)Gang-related Shootings in Vancouver Leave 10 Wounded - NYTimes.com: "Ten people were shot early Sunday morning in a residential and commercial neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia. While it occurred in a part of the city not known for crime or gangs, Vancouver police characterized the shooting as “an outrageous display of gang-related violence.”
People with gunshot wounds were strewn around the neighborhood when police arrived and some others staggered into nearby hospitals with injuries. Two victims are in critical condition. No arrests have been made nor did a police spokeswoman explain why she believed that the shootings were connected to gangs."
