Police believe Dukes member Phillip Saldana shot the victim in the leg with a 9 mm handgun.

According to Detective Eric Bravo the victim was walking on Reading Avenue when he was approached by two men in a yellow El Camino. The car stopped and two men began arguing with the victim about "colors." Police believe 32-year-old Phillip Saldana shot the victim in the leg with a 9 mm handgun. The victim is expected to survive.Police are on the hunt for a man they say shot another person in the leg Thursday morning around 11:30. The shooting happened near 15th Street and Reading Avenue. Police say it was gang related.Police say they've already recovered the vehicle and are in the process of tracking down Saldana. They're also hoping to identify the second person allegedly in the car at the time of the shooting. Bravo says Saldana is a gang member with the Dukes.
