Police probe gangs ties in Point Douglas killing: "Relatives discovered the body of 34-year old Daniel Kachkan in a Barber Street home Monday afternoon. Sources confirm he was shot. Kachkan's death is raising questions if his killing was a revenge plot.
Kachkan was charged with stabbing a rival drug dealer to death outside an Elmwood 7-11 back in 2005. Sources say the victim was well liked within the criminal element. Kachkan was acquitted following a trial two years later.
